One of the things I learned in the course of drawing this comic is that it’s surprisingly hard to come up with insults that sound culture- and period-appropriate. But as you can see that doesn’t stop me from trying .
Ah! that’s the problem with eunuchs, if not emasculated early enough, their body will find a way to produce testosterone in other ways than from the testicles…so a gelded dog or human could be just as ornery as a testosterone blinded lion. Fact, the redoubtable Turkish Janissaries where all Eunuchs…going to battle carrying their pots and pans as they where also gastronomes…
Can’t say I blame them… I always get hungry from hiking, they must be starving after all the fighting
HEE…I can imagine. The page came out great!
Thanks Darwin… coming up with insults is one problem you don’t have to worry about with your current wordless chapter eh?
That is quite a wound from a little knife! Blood spraying out of the General’s back?
The good general has been losing weight, you see…
But yes it seems I did draw those knives a fair bit shorter than I imagined them in my head
As Crocodile Dundee said: “That’s not a knife, THIS is a knife…”
People have been making flesh rendering implements since the stone age…these obsidian blades, you could shave with!
I still think I’d rather stick to my electric razor… thank you very much
BTW… for those in the US… hope everyone had a great Turkey day!
And then Dong Zhuo gets up and says: “Yo momma!” And all eunuchs’ head asplode.
Ha… that’s one idea to file away for the special Halloween edition
Wasn’t Halloween, like, a mounth ago?
No, it’s 10 months away. I don’t know what you’re talking about
