Our new friend He-Jin’s stylish hat and robe came from this reference, which some of you will probably recognize. For those of you who don’t: it’s from an old series of Romance of the Three Kingdoms picture books. That series might be the first comics I ever read, and they started my ROTK obsession that is obviously still going strong. So this is a little shout out to an old flame.
Now for a happy announcement: my little sister is getting married in a couple weeks. Yes, thank you , thank you. But that also means I’ll be swimming in relatives for the next few weeks, starting tomorrow, and unfortunately I do not have a buffer to fall back on at this point, so I’ll have to take some time off from the comic. The next update for this comic will be on August 11. Hopefully y’all will still be around by then But in the meantime, check out the awesome SF comics from the link bar at the top of this page
