When plan A doesn’t work… throw stuff. That should be my new motto
One thing about drawing a story that happened in the 2nd century AD is that there aren’t many chances to draw explosions, which are sooo much fun to draw. So I was pretty happy to get to draw some shattered china.
New link button up in the link page for The Sorrowful Putto of Prague. If, like me, you have a somewhat warped sense of humor, this is the comic for you – its main character is a foul-mouthed chain-smoking cupid. Need I say more?

the breaking of the China reminds to me of the tale of the Empress of Yang… who is said to so love the sound of tearing silk that the Emperor of Yang darn near bankrupted the treasury trying to keep her happy…
nice explosions btw!! and a very pleasant link too!
Oh yeah now that you mention it, I do vaguely remember hearing the story of the Empress who liked the sound of silk tearing. For the life of me I can’t remember exactly which empress it was. I suppose that means it’s time to Google…
I like this story line thus far. It relects the oldest nature of evils manifestation in humanity, the woman.
They were not as powerless as most imagined them to be historically. Imagine a being that is able to manipulate through bond, body or blood to achieve thier goals. I would not consider such a being to be powerless…
Well I’d wouldn’t say women were/are more evil than men, we’re probably about equally evil
It’s pretty safe to say though that the most egregious atrocities in history have been committed almost exclusively by men. Of course one could argue that’s because, until very recently, only men were allowed the political and military wherewithal to commit these atrocities, but until Hillary Clinton starts ordering mass murders, us guys still have the gals beat in that particular column.
