I’ve heard people say Asians don’t have curly hair. Some of us do, it’s just not very common. In fact one of the girls in my grade school class had curly hair, so that became her nickname – “curly hair”. Yes, we were a very imaginative bunch.
This had me scurrying for the translation of the word “mendacious”…
It is not used very much in vernacular English…to my surprise, it is a very common word on Planet Mongo!
With the dialogue in this comic I try to make it not sound too modern, hence some of the weirder sounding words. Hope I’m not overdoing it
I believe there’s a typo on the third panel: “The little price was with your son…” It’s supposed to be “little prince”, isn’t it?

Ah….I should have guessed the queen was behind the plot. Yeah I can see jealousy blooming brightly in this kind of situation.

That’s a nice way to include that (basically afterthought in the book) of Empress He poisoning… Concubine Wang? I think it was?
