This has absolutely nothing to do with the comic, but I just went to see True Grit, and I haven’t enjoyed a movie this much in a looooong time. Jeff Bridge’s line “them men wanted a decent burial, they should have got themselves killed in summer” totally cracked me up. It also reminded me of the chief Yellow Turban Zhang Jue, who was dead and buried before the Han army could get to him. When they finally did, they dug his body back out and beheaded his corpse. So I guess that’s one more villain that didn’t get a decent burial.
See what I did there? I just made a logical connection from True Grit to the Yellow Turbans. Win for me

I never thought of it that way… but now that you mentioned it, I’m quite convinced the Debbie Downer character on Saturday Night Life was modeled after our own Liu Bei…

Can’t say I’m familiar with that cartoon. The Yellow Turbans weren’t saints by any means, but the government officials at the time were much worse – “bad all the way through” is pretty close.
Now that is a tie in… True Grit and Romance of the Three Kingdoms!! i bow to your ever creative mind oh Koad!!

Lol… I did not get the hint at all… which is not at all surprising: I’ve got to be one of the world’s worst hint-getters. In fact I mess up so often that my own wife forbids me from buying her any presents unless it’s something she’s explicitly told me to get for her
But back to the topic at hand – I’m totally flattered by the suggestion, and once in awhile I do daydream about making a book or something. Maybe somday…
