Happy New Year everyone!
Hope y’all had a great time over the holidays. This week we’re back with the Sun family – in my mind Sun Jian is the type of father who gets a kick out of egging his children on to all kinds of mischief. I hope I didn’t make Sun Ce look too evil, but then he’s a teenager, so by definition he’s got to be at least a little deranged.
Now to a bit of business – I will be traveling for the next few weeks, with no access to my computer, scanner, or any of my drawing tools. And despite my intentions to build one, I currently do not have a buffer, so unfortunately I’ll have to miss a few updates – three to be exact: the next update will be on February 3rd. I apologize for the interruption, but my mother’s gotten this strange notion that attending my cousin’s wedding trumps updating my webcomic. Sheesh.

Mothers eh? Make you attend weddings… Disapprove of your simple enjoyment of hand-to-hand combat… Sheesh indeed.
I don’t know about you, my mother has always been supportive of hand-to-hand combat…
The only creature more terrifying than a “woman scorned” is a mother… have safe travels, eat lots, drink more and may merriment abound!
Thanks… and will do
Re: Sun Jian getting a kick out of egging his kids on… are you SURE this wasn’t inspired by the Dynasty Warriors series?
That I can pretty sure about… I always skip over the cut scenes in Dynasty Warriors. I don’t care about the story, I just play that game to hack up wads of people. And cut scenes = time not hacking up people
